NEW Expo – two down, one to go!

The technical team at Spirit kicked off the month of May by travelling to the second stop of the National Electronics Week tour.

On the 1st and 2nd of May we set off to Edinburgh to exhibit at the NEW Expo, which was held at the Royal Highland Centre.

The National Electronics Week tour is an electronics event that travels the UK for three shows. The first show was held at Event City in Manchester in March, and we have just returned from the second leg of the show in Edinburgh. The last stop for the show will be in Bristol in late September.

National Electronics Week is the largest platform and event for the manufacturing industry in the UK and also boasts being Britain’s only dedicated event for the electronics industry. Each show celebrates a strong seminar programme and attracts local industry and key players in the electronics and manufacturing industries.

The events focus on the latest technology and innovations – it is renowned for its’ high quality technical conferences. Our Southern Area Sales Manager, Peter Dobromylski, delivered his paper at the conference which was on IMS PCBs for Solar and LED applications.

The Edinburgh show was our first exhibition north of the border for some time and it was a great chance to meet our customers from that region and show new companies some of our capabilities.

We had a successful second show and there was a lot of interest in our metal PCBs used in power applications.

The final NEW Expo will be held on 24th - 25th September at The University of West England. With 2 shows under our belt we can’t wait to put on a good show at final stop in Bristol!
